Recycled/Reuse in Centers

Here are a couple of money saving ideas to use in the classroom and in literacy centers.
Water Bottle Tops

ABC order, build words or write numbers on the tops and use in the Math Center

I use aprons from Home Depot to hold classroom material.  Just cut the strings and add a label.  They cost less than $1.

This Home Depot apron was cut in half.  I use them to hold stickers, sight words, pointers, etc.

"Phonics Phones"
PVC pipes were purchased at Home Depot for about $4

Phonics phone allows children to hear their sounds and words distinctly.
